Introducing the Dart 79MDF - a jerkbait specifically designed for land-based flounder fishing.

MDF stands for "Medium Diving Floater" - this jerkbait will dive to roughly 7ft on 8lb braid/12lb fluoro leader, and combined with its moderate float rate, the Dart 79MDF will effectively cover that 2 to 9ft zone most commonly reached by shore-bound anglers in a typical cast. 

While flounder (aka "fluke") live on the bottom, they always feed up in the water column, and a slow floating jerkbait is essential to triggering bites consistently from these ambush pancakes. 

Armed with premium Decoy Japan hardware, from the EX Snap to the Light Class split rings and Y-F33S treble hooks, the Dart 79MDF is ready to fish out of the box - zero upgrades necessary. 

*Strongly recommend having a pair of pliers on your person while targeting flounder with jerkbaits. Leave them flat on the wet sand while unhooking. 

*The Decoy Y-F33S treble hooks are 1x wire, and chosen for its sharpness and ease of penetration. They are not meant to be fished on heavy line or heavy drag settings. My jerkbait flounder videos on youtube will provide some idea as to how to properly fight and land flounder on hardbaits.

*The Dart 79MDF blank is made in China (unavoidable). They are custom painted in America by a professional lure painter, assembled in NJ by yours truly, and the snap/rings/hooks are made in Japan.
